The Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and Charlotte Hornets are interested in acquiring Arron Afflalo from the Denver Nuggets.

Arron Afflalo was acquired by the Denver Nuggets this past offseason from the Orlando Magic, but it appears that there is a chance that he could move again prior to the NBA’s trading deadline.

More from Charlotte Hornets

According to a report from ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, the Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, and Los Angeles Clippers are three of the teams that are interested in acquiring Afflalo if the Nuggets do end up looking to move him.

Those teams are in need of some scoring help, and that is exactly what Afflalo can bring to the table. He hasn’t fit in with the Nuggets very well this season, but has shown flashes of the dominant scorer that he was with the Magic last season. If he is given the green light, there is no doubt that he can add perimeter shooting and all-around scoring to their rotation.

In 37 games so far this season, Afflalo has averaged 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He has shot 44.7 percent from the field overall and 34.6 percent from behind the three-point arc.

Afflalo is 29 years old, and still has a few good years of basketball left in him. It will all depend on what price tag the Nuggets have set for him, and whether or not they truly do want to move him.

There have been plenty of trade rumors and completed trades throughout the season so far, and it is expected to be a very busy trade deadline. It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see Denver entertain offers for Afflalo and end up moving him as the deadline approaches.
