Orlando Magic big man Nikola Vucevic put Chicago Bulls center Pau Gasol on a poster.

Nikola Vucevic has taken leaps and bounds this season, and the Orlando Magic have locked him up long-term. There is no question that he is a franchise type of center, and he has proved that this year.

Chicago Bulls center Pau Gasol found out just how dominant Vucevic can be in their game on Monday night, and was put on a poster by the young center. He was able to take Gasol off of the dribble and dunk it on top of him with his left hand. Vucevic isn’t necessarily known for his dunking skills, but he is more than capable if he’s given the chance.

Through 34 games with the Magic this season, Vucevic has averaged 18.4 points and 11.1 rebounds per game.

Orlando knows that they have a very good center in the making, and at 24 years of age there is still plenty of room left for him to grow. The Eastern Conference isn’t full of dominant centers, and Vucevic is quickly becoming one of the more feared front-court players in the league. Perhaps the most important aspect of his game is that he is a double-double machine nearly each and every night.
