Green Bay Packers’ John Kuhn: You have to beat the champs
By Evan Massey
Green Bay Packers fullback John Kuhn said that to be the champs, you have beat the champs ahead of their matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Green Bay Packers were able to knock the Dallas Cowboys out of the playoffs with a 26-21 victory in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, and they are now looking ahead to facing the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

John Kuhn has been an important piece for the Packers at the fullback position, and he spoke about the upcoming game against the Seahawks recently.
“This is a really good team,” Kuhn said. “This is the team that’s the defending Super Bowl champs. The slogan is thrown around every year: If you want to be the champs, you have to beat the champs. Well, here we have that opportunity. And we couldn’t ask for anything more than that, to go in and play the best team.”
Seattle is going to do everything they can to get to Rodgers and force him to move around on his bad leg. If they can rattle him or get him to tweak the calf again, the Packers’ chances of pulling out a shocking road win would lower immediately.
On the other hand, the Packers firmly believe that they can head into Seattle and shock the Seahawks just like the Indianapolis Colts did to the Denver Broncos this past week.
It isn’t going to be easy for Green Bay, but this is the type of test that proves whether or not a team is a legitimate Super Bowl contender. The Packers are playing much better football now than they did in Week 1 of the regular season, when Seattle blew them out 36-16. They have a much better defense, especially, and that will help them in a big way.
Sunday afternoon cannot come soon enough for the Packers and Kuhn, as they look to prove themselves with a huge win over the defending champion Seahawks.
