Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald was speaking about his team in the past tense. Has he already prepped to say his goodbyes?

Larry Fitzgerald has made a lot of money with the Arizona Cardinals. He is scheduled to earn $16.25 million next season. His cap number will be $17.6 million in 2016 and $17.35 million in 2017 and 2018.

That is a huge hit for the team to The two sides could “mutually” agree to go their separate ways before the next season because of that monster hit. It already seems like Larry has one foot out of the door.

Larry was on NBCSN on Tuesday and it sounded like he was saying his goodbyes.

"“I truly enjoyed my time playing for the Arizona Cardinals, really enjoyed my relationship with Bruce Arians and his coaching staff, truly been a pleasure to play in the NFL for as long as I have been able to but obviously there’s business that needs to be taken care of,” Fitzgerald told Paul Burmeister of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN.  “Hopefully we can address it here in the near future.”"

It sure sounds like he is saying his goodbyes to the team. He is speaking about his status with the team in the past tense and is looking forward to what the future has in store for him.

Larry’s numbers have declined the last few seasons and he will be 32 years old next year. The Cardinals don’t want to pay him all that money and have other areas of need.

Larry still seems like he could be a capable receiver in the league. He hasn’t had the best situations at quarterback the last few seasons and has fluctuated in production because of it. When he had Carson Palmer throwing to him last season, he almost surpassed the 1000 yard mark with 954 receiving yards and hit double digits in touchdowns with 10. There will be a few teams interested in him if he becomes available.
