Manny Pacquiao has agreed to the terms to fight Floyd Mayweather on May 2. We are now waiting for Floyd to agree to the terms.
Promoter Bob Arum says that Manny Pacquiao has agreed to terms to fight Floyd Mayweather on May 2, but the only thing that is holding it all back is Floyd Mayweather. The ball is in Mayweather’s court. He needs to approve the terms and then we will have the fight that we all have been waiting for.
On Friday, there was a report from the Los Angeles Times that the fight was making progress. Multiple sources had told Yahoo Sports that the fight was “imminent.”
Manny and Floyd had to agree to the terms of the deal to fight on May 2 and that the split would be 60/40 favoring Mayweather. Mayweather could make up to $120 million form that fight alone. The tickets to see that fight would be out of this world.
The hype on that fight is there. The boxing world needs to see it happen. They have been waiting for it to happen and we just need one more side to agree to the terms. We are all just waiting for Money Mayweather agree on the deal.
Arum didn’t want to speak about details, but he did add this per Yahoo:
"“I want to get some movement here, with bringing Mayweather to the table so we can go out and get everything signed and get the networks together and get the thing finished,” Arum told Yahoo Sports Tuesday."
Dear Money, let’s make this happen!
