Oregon Ducks Cheer Coach Becomes Internet Famous

An old photo of the Oregon Ducks cheer coach was passed around like wild fire last night during the National Championship game.
If you were watching the National Championship game last night and had your twitter feed pumping, then you likely ran across a photo of an Oregon cheerleader. It was getting tweeted out over and over from a few people and went viral. It seems that it started with a Darnell Dockett tweet of her that is shown below.
That is all it took. “Oregon is cheating…. ”
A little flame, started the wildfire.
Over and over again the photo was posted to twitter and people were commenting on it. It turns out that the photo wasn’t even from the National Championship game. Why were you creeping on that photo Darnell>
That was an old photo from November. She is not a cheerleader, she is the the Oregon cheer coach Corine Lewis. Here is her tweet from late November:
And that is how the internet works! Just post a photo and months later it will come back and make you internet famous. Corine Lewis got a lot of attention on her twitter feed after people figured out who she was.
With Corine on the sideline for the Ducks, they were cheating. It didn’t help them get the win on Monday night though.
