Houston Cougars Baseball offering to reimburse season ticket holders…with a catch
The Houston Cougars are giving their fans a chance to win back their money.
Sports teams usually have contests where fans have to hit a shot for a car, sink a slap shot for money, or throw a football for a scholarship. The University of Houston Baseball program is offering fans a chance for a refund of their season tickets on February 7.
The only catch is that fans will have to be able to hit a home run off a pitching machine.

Fans also have to buy or renew season tickets the day before as well, so there will be no free swings in this competition.
Hitting a home run off a pitching machine is hard enough, but the competition wasn’t meant to give away free money either. It’s a clever contest and one that should be entertaining as well for fans swinging and watching alike.
It’s going to take a great deal of strength for anyone to hit a home run, let alone the necessary eye contact and swing that is required to hit one out of the park. Thus is why credit has to be given to come up with the great idea. It’s not easy, but rather difficult, and that’s what makes the prospects of this contest awesome.
Who’s going to hit the home run?
Whether its the season ticket holder who works construction, or the grandma who enjoys antiquing and baseball, someone has a chance to hit a home run and get their money back.
It’s time for Cougars fans to get in the batting cages and start practicing their swings, the contest isn’t too far away.
