A Los Angeles Clippers fan lost a bet. To pay it off she had to put her phone number on a sign and ask Blake Griffin out to dinner.

If you are trying to get the attention of a basketball player on the court during a game, you can hold up a sign with your phone number on it and hope that they like what they are seeing. If they like what they see, they can head to the locker room and save that number and then hit you up right after. It has to work.

Los Angeles Clippers fan, Danielle Richards, took her shot at hooking up with a NBA star on Wednesday night. Check out this sign that she held out during the game that had her digits on it.

When you put your digits out there for a whole arena to see, some clown is going to give it a ring . How about 188 clowns tried to give her a call?

By the end of the night, Danielle had 381 text messages (174 of those came from a “Blake”), 188 phone calls, 29 people pretending to be athletes, 63 dinner invitations, 52 requests for a photo and 6 unsolicited photos.

That is going to happen when you put your number out there for everyone to see.  Why in the world would Danielle do that?

It turns out she lost a bet to her sister. Here is what she told to SB Nation:

"“I lost a bet to my sister, over whether my father would let us go to the game,” Richards explained to me.Their unknowing father gave his permission for the two to buy tickets, and the stakes forced Richards to hold up a sign asking Griffin out to dinner with her phone number on it. Richards’ father may end up regretting his fated decision.“He probably won’t be very happy I did it,” she admitted."

Imagine if that big black line wasn’t sitting across her digits in that photo above. I know a few of you clowns would hit her up with a text message also. I’m still trying to make out the rest of the digits. The first one is a “5” and the last one is a “6”. That is all I got.
