Actor Hugh Jackman shows love for LeBron James through a Twitter pic.

Tonight as the Los Angeles Lakers play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers many celebrities will be in attendance. Jack Nicholson and most of the Hollywood company will root on their hometown Lakers.

However, it’s LeBron James who is coming to town.

LeBron has been known to turn the landscape of basketball fandom on its head. First he had people rooting for less than stellar city of Cleveland. Then, he took his talents to South Beach. Now, he’s back in his hometown, and even celebrities follow the man, not the team.

Oscar-nominated and acclaimed actor Hugh Jackman is one of these followers. Today he represented his LeBron gear through his Twitter account:

Sure, it’s easy to call Jackman just another plain old bandwagon jumper. But hey, this is the NBA. The star-studded quality that the Association brings to the table only creates these natural bandwagon situations.

For the sometimes bleak city of Cleveland though, it can’t get any cooler than to have Wolverine rocking your star player’s number for all the world to see. Hopefully Jackman turns out to be that lucky charm the Cavs need to break this terrible run their currently on.

The Cavs will look to snap a six-game losing streak tonight at Staples Center.
