Wisconsin fans made the wrong move Thursday night be besmirching corn while trying to troll Nebraska

There are a lot of ways that you can take a shot at the University of Nebraska. You can point out that they’re located in the middle of nowhere. You can make fun of Lawrence Phillips. Hell, you can take your Bo Pelini shots if you’d like, even though he’s gone; some are still relevant.

But, one thing that you should never do is trash their beloved corn. This was a mistake that was made by Wisconsin fans Thursday night as the two schools did battle on the court, and they were called out on it.

A group of Wisconsin fans had some shirts that boldly stated corn is the ā€œworst vegetable ever.ā€ Well, as we all know, corn is not a vegetable, rather it’s a grain.

This is something the Nebraska Twitter account was more than happy to point out.

Yep, that was not getting past them. No way, no how.

Now it should be pointed out it’s not known at this time whether or not these fans actually did not know corn is a grain, or this was just a huge troll.

Whatever the case ultimately is, the kind people running the Nebraska Twitter account are none too pleased.
