Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas isn’t buying the talk that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is hurt, so he is preparing for a 100 percent version of the star signal-caller.

Everyone is aware of the Seattle Seahawks impressive talent in the secondary and that could spell trouble for Aaron Rodgers, who has reportedly been dealing with a serious calf injury in recent weeks.
However, don’t tell the Seahawks about that Rodgers injury — especially star safety Earl Thomas.
As far as Earl Thomas is concerned, Rodgers is not injured. He doesn’t believe that he is for a second.
“I’m not buying into this leg issue,” Thomas told reporters on Thursday, via Pro Football Talk. “I’m not buying into it. I saw him scramble close to the goal line on the Cowboys, so he’s not fooling me with that.
“I’m not falling into that. I’m on my own road regardless. I’m on my road regardless.”
For Earl Thomas, this could be nothing more than a mental play.
Rodgers has clearly shown that he is fighting through pain, but the Seahawks need to have it in their minds that they are preparing for the best version of Aaron Rodgers possible.
“That’s the mentality you’ve got to have,” safety Kam Chancellor said. “You don’t want any surprises so just go in with that mentality, and you won’t be surprised.”
We will see if that mentality helps the Seahawks reach their second straight Super Bowl in a matter of days.
