Kevin Durant was no match for the defensive skills of Trevor Ariza on Thursday

Thursday night in one of the highlight games of the evening, the Houston Rockets are taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder. At one point in this one, Trevor Ariza flashed some of them defensive skills, and he did so at the expense of one of the best offensive players in the game, Kevin Durant.

At one point in the contest, Ariza and Durant were matched up with one another at the top of the key. Now this is where you expect Durant to pull off one of his amazing offensive moves that show you he’s one of the best in the NBA today.

Well, Ariza was having none of that. Watch in the video below as the Houston forward strips the ball from Durant and takes it all the way to the other end, finishing the play off with the emphatic dunk.

This round goes to Trevor Ariza.
