Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond made a huge tip-in to win the game at the buzzer
After releasing Josh Smith, the Detroit Pistons are having a great string of success. Friday night against Indiana, the Pistons’ string of luck continued as center Andre Drummond tipped in a shot at the buzzer to defeat the Pacers.

After a Brandon Jennings runner at the buzzer bounced off the rim, it appeared the Pistons and division rival Indiana were heading to overtime. However, Drummond showed up at the right time and tipped in the missed shot to prevent the extra frame and send Detroit home winners.
Drummond had 16 points and 16 rebounds on the night, with the last two points and rebound coming at the opportune moment for Detroit.
Drummond slid right into the play under Pacers’ forward David West and then ran across the court with his arms extended after bringing home Detroit a victory.
The Pistons are playing incredible ball since the departure of Smith and could be primed to take one of the last playoff spots in an abysmal Eastern Conference, despite their 15-25 record.
With big men like Drummond and Greg Monroe, Detroit can compete with anyone when it comes to size, and tonight they out-sized Indiana on their way to a 98-96 victory in Indianapolis.
