Broncos’ DeMarcus Ware thinks Peyton Manning will return

Denver Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware thinks quarterback Peyton Manning will return and play another NFL season in 2015.
The Denver Broncos and legendary quarterback Peyton Manning came up short in their quest for an NFL championship this season. After losing in the Super Bowl the previous season, the Broncos were ousted from the playoffs considerably earlier in the Divisional Round by the Indianapolis Colts.
Manning didn’t look like himself during the game and his passes just looked uncharacteristic. That led some to speculate that Manning’s skills were declining and this could be the end.
Then we learned that Manning was injured, which could explain the poor performance, but doesn’t help counter the belief that Manning could be calling it a career.
Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware doesn’t think that is the case though, he thinks Manning will return for the 2015 season to chase another Super Bowl victory.
“Me and Peyton will always talk back and forth about things. Now he’s just looking forward to the next season and how we can get better,” Ware told USA Today’s Lindsay Jones on Thursday. “I think he’ll be back. I feel like he still has a couple years in him.”
Ware also speculated that Manning needed a cool off period and some time away before making another run.
“He just needs time to get healthy, rest,” Ware said. “Calm the brain down. Turn it off a little bit and then hit the restart button once it’s time.”
Of course last season was Ware’s first as Manning’s teammate, so how close can they be in reality. It is possible they became BFF’s this season but it isn’t like a long time Manning teammate, friend and confidant is saying this.
