The Penn State hockey team is showing their support for Joe Paterno on Friday night.

Today is quite the joyous day in State College, Pennsylvania, given the news that the NCAA has agreed to restore the wins of legendary head coach Joe Paterno, wins that were vacated by sanctions levied in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

This is a move that Penn State faithful have been clamoring for for quite some time, and they were obliged on Friday. So now, with everything seemingly back they way it was before, everyone within the Penn State community is out to show their support for Paterno and getting that wins number back to 409.

The Penn State hockey team is doing their part, and they’re honoring Paterno with these helmet stickers on Friday night.

Again, the Penn State community is pretty tight knit, so it’s really no surprise that the other athletic teams in Happy Valley are out to show how pleased they are with the ruling on Friday.
