The status of Derrick Rose is still very much a source of concern for fans of the Chicago Bulls. But on at least one play Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks, we’re all good.
Jeff Teague is making a run at his first career All-Star berth this year, but there are still some times when no matter how well things are going, you can get lulled into looking silly.
So you could forgive the point guard for the Atlanta Hawks if he was completely unprepared to be an unwitting student in the school of fakes as administered by former NBA MVP Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls.

Teague went for the fake, flew by and then Rose made the play so much sweeter by drawing DeMarre Carroll to him and dishing to a wide-open Jimmy Butler for a little baseline J.
Pro tip for Teague: Don’t overcommit or D-Rose’ll make ya look silly.
That might have been more helpful if someone had clued Teague into that little factoid before Rose sent him flying into the second row.
The high-flying Hawks came into the United Center with an 11-game winning streak, a 32-8 overall record and the top spot in the Eastern Conference by five games over the Washington Wizards.
And Teague has been a huge part of things in the ATL (or should we change that to the “AT-W”?).
