Floyd Mayweather and Los Angeles Clippers’ forward Matt Barnes got into it during Friday night’s game between the Clippers and Cavaliers.

Wherever Floyd Mayweather goes, he isn’t afraid to make his presence felt. Whether it’s with his giant gold chains or a massive entourage, the champ lets his arrival be known. During Friday night’s game between the Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers, things got heated after Mayweather arrived in grand style and proceeded to get into an argument with Clippers’ forward Matt Barnes.

For his part, Barnes didn’t do much to calm the situation down, as some may say he instigated what happened.

As the story goes, whenever he stepped to the line to shoot a free throw, Barnes would grab a certain part of his body and direct his words to Mayweather, who in return yelled back and would continue to shout at Barnes over something that was unclear to those around.

The Clippers ultimately lost to the Cavaliers and Barnes after the game didn’t want to talk about the incident that occurred between him and Mayweather. He even went as far as to say he wasn’t all that interested in people who weren’t on the court — expect Barnes was a bit more colorful when he said it.

It is clear that something the boxing champ said to Barnes agitated him, but he declined to go further. Regardless of what happened, this is another case of Mayweather wherever he goes, creating a scene and bringing the attention to himself. With Mayweather’s continued behavior, it wouldn’t be surprising to see teams put in measures to prevent this type of behavior happening courtside again.
