The Seattle Seahawks rolled into Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday afternoon, but not before everyone got a little sappy with each other on Twitter.
Social media is the best way for the world to stay connected without actually having to meet anyone in person, but it also leads to situations where things can get super sappy and sentimental in a totally unavoidable way.

This was the case on Sunday afternoon before the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers clashed in what has since become an instant classic NFC Championship Game.
Before the NFC Championship Game, the Seahawks tweeted out a little good luck message to their team but received an even more touching message in return from wide receiver Doug Baldwin.
Awh, isn’t that cute.
Baldwin and the Seahawks indeed went out and played for one another as they gave the gutsiest performance of the season in their 28-22 comeback win over the Green Bay Packers. From Russell Wilson’s tears after the game to Richard Sherman playing with a dead arm, the Seahawks showed what a no quit attitude looks like and it’s the type of attitude that gets you to the Super Bowl.
What this also means is that Seahawks and their players get two more weeks to be all sappy and gross with each other on social media. That’s a win for America.
