LeGarrette Blount scored his second touchdown to guarantee a blowout victory for the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship and another appearance in the NFL’s Super Bowl.

Getting cut for throwing a tantrum led Blount back to Bill Belichick and the Patriots. Back as one of the running backs in New England, Blount is doing the same thing he was one year ago: dominating the Indianapolis Colts in playoff football.
Now playing in this year’s AFC Championship game, Blount is doing what Jonas Gray did during the regular season: absolutely dominating the Colts on the ground. His second score felt like the proverbial ‘nail in the coffin.’ It came off an Andrew Luck interception and seemed to seal the inevitable.

So it was that the NFL is headed for a sensational Super Bowl showdown between the Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. It will be interesting to see if the adaptability and versatility of the Patriots will translate in that game.
They were certainly too much for the Colts to handle, and Blount and the Patriots cruised to an AFC title.
