The Seattle Seahawks scored 15 points in 44 seconds to take a lead late in the NFC Championship, but Mason Crosby brought the Green Bay Packers back.

Mason Crosby did what he could to keep the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship, tying an NFL postseason record with five field goals.

The fifth of those field goals sent the game against the Seattle Seahawks to overtime—the first NFC Championship to go to overtime since the New York Giants beat the San Francisco 49ers in the 2011 NFC title game.

Crosby hit from 18, 19, 40, 48 and again from 48 without a miss.

He is the ninth kicker to boot five field goals in a postseason game since 1960, the first since Adam Vinatieri kicked five for the Indianapolis Colts against the Baltimore Ravens in a 2006 AFC Divisional Playoff game.

Crosby is the third to do so in a conference championship, joining Matt Bahr of the Giants, who provided all of the points in New York’s 15-13 win over the 49ers in the 1990 NFC Championship, and Steve Christie of the Buffalo Bills, who banged home five in the 1992 AFC Championship against the Miami Dolphins.

Crosby is the fifth kicker to have a 5-for-5 playoff game. Chuck Nelson of the Minnesota Vikings was the first against San Francisco in a 1987 NFC Divisional Playoff game. Brad Daluiso of the Giants, John Kasey of the and Vinatieti (twice, once with the Colts and once with the New England Patriots) are the others.
