Robert Griffin III has disappointed since showing signs of promise in his rookie season. Now, the fan support is fading.

During the 2014-15 NFL regular season, the Washington Redskins were forced to bench a struggling Robert Griffin III. Since showing some signs of promise during his rookie season, the Redskins and their fans have been wondering how Griffin could so rapidly decline.
That has led to decreased fan support which means fewer merchandise sales.
So, like Griffin’s play, the prices for RG3 jerseys are plummeting. In fact, stores are basically trying to give jerseys away with the Robert Griffin III jerseys hitting the 75 percent off clearance rack.

Oh, woof.
That is not what you would expect when it comes to the fan support of a man who was supposed to be your franchise quarterback.
Do you think the Washington Redskins regret their mega-trade that landed them the No. 2 overall pick and opportunity to draft Robert Griffin III back in 2012 yet? I think it is safe to assume that answer is yes.
