Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks came into the NFC Championship as the highest-rated passer in playoff history. After his first half, that’s no longer true.

Coming into Sunday’s NFC Championship, Russell Wilson’s career postseason passer rating of 109.6 was the highest in NFL history for passers with at least 150 attempts.

After the first half, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback has a quarterback rating of 97.2. Wilson was 2-for-9 for 12 yards and three interceptions.

His third came deep in the Green Bay Packers’ end. He thought he had wide receiver Jermaine Kearse open down the left side and lofted it high and deep.

But Packers cornerback Sam Shields played it perfectly.

That was Wilson’s third interception of the half, with the first two going to Packers rookie safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

It was a nightmarish first half for the Seahawks, who trail 16-0 in a stadium—CenturyLink Field—where they are 25-2 over the last three seasons, including the postseason.

The Seahawks haven’t lost a playoff game there since Jan. 8, 2005—a streak of seven straight home postseason victories.

Seattle only committed 14 turnovers in the regular season, but had four in the first half against Green Bay—Wilson’s three picks and a fumble by Doug Baldwin on a kickoff return.

The Seahawks have been outgained 178-59 and Seattle has just eight net passing yards.
