Power Forward

High Salary: With Anthony Davis a gametime decision, LaMarcus Aldridge is one of the top options on the board as the Blazers host Sacramento in the nightcap.  Aldridge put up 22 points, four rebounds, three assists, and a pair of blocks against the Kings in their earlier meeting and is averaging an impressive 26.0 points and 9.5 rebounds so far this month. Aldridge’s peripheral stats make him an extremely reliable option, and he has posted 35 FanDuel points or more in five of his last six games and seven of his last nine games. He’s expensive at 10,100, but I think the former-Longhorn is worth it against a Kings team that may be without DeMarcus Cousins at full strength.

High Salary: In a daytime matchup with just as much promise, Blake Griffin gets to take on the Celtics who have allowed more FanDuel points to opposing PF than any other team in the league.  Griffin has been in the groove lately.  In six of his last seven, he has produced at least 35 FanDuel points blending points, rebounds, and assists together to create some top-line fantasy value.  Look for a big game from Blake as long as this afternoon’s game doesn’t turn into a laugher too early.

High Value: Rockets PF Donatas Motiejunas has been a consistent contributor for his fantasy owners and for the Rockets lately. He’s posted double-digit scoring in all of his last ten games while grabbing at least five rebounds in eight of those games with seven multi-assist games and three multi-steal games over that span.  His solid, consistent numbers have allowed him to put up 20 FanDuel points or more in nine of those contests with five games over 28 FanDuel points. At 5,600 he’s worth a look today as the Rockets host the Pacers in a 5:30 ET start. The Pacers are typically good defensively against opposing PF, but they’ve slipped a bit lately. Motiejunas probably won’t go off for a huge day, but he is a solid, steady, low-risk option.

High Value: With Joakim Noah sidelined, Taj Gibson has slid into the Bulls starting lineup and plyed heavy minutes over the last two games. Gibson’s numbers haven’t jumped outside of the minutes, though, with just 25.6 and 23.7 FanDuel points.  Tonight, though, he gets to take on the struggling defensively Cavaliers frontcourt which should lead to a solid game for Gibson at his very affordable 5,300 price.

High Value: J.J. Hickson has posted four double-doubles in his last six games and scored at least ten points in seven straight.  At 4,700 he’s a nice budget play against the Warriors.  He has produced at least 20 FanDuel points in six straight, and he should continue to see plenty of time up front for the Nuggets as they continue to fill in for the recently-traded Timofey Mozgov.
