By Evan Massey
What five needs do the Green Bay Packers have heading into the offseason after losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship game?
The Green Bay Packers are fresh off of a tough 28-22 loss in overtime against the Seattle Seahawks that ended their season. It was an even more difficult loss due to the fact that Green Bay was up 16-0 entering halftime, and 19-7 with just 10:53 left in the game.
Mike McCarthy and company are going to remember this loss all offseason, and perhaps the Packers will realize how close they are to a Super Bowl and make some changes. They could use a few roster changes, and they could use a few coaching changes as well. There are plenty of ways that the Packers could improve this offseason to make another run next season.
It is going to be a very intriguing offseason to watch the Packers, especially after how close they came to another Super Bowl appearance.
All of that being said, there is a good chance that the Packers once again decide to build from within and through the draft. They should be aggressive on the free agency market, but that doesn’t mean that they will be.
