Justin Bieber endorses Toronto Raptors’ Kyle Lowry for All-Star Game
Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry should expect a significant boost in people voting for him to be on the NBA All-Star team after getting an endorsement from none other than Justin Bieber.
Pop star, Canadian and noted NBA fan Justin Bieber offered up an endorsement for Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry to be voted to the All-Star Game via Twitter on Monday.

The Raptors are in first place by 9.5 games in the Atlantic division and basically already have the division won and assured themselves of a top-three seed for the NBA playoffs later this year. Lowry’s team sits in third place in the Eastern Conference with a 26-14 record and the efforts of the 28-year-old is a large reason for the team’s success.
"Toronto has been killin it and @Klow7 deserves to be an nba all star. Make sure to vote for him. #WeTheNorth. Good luck buddy. — Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) January 19, 2015"
Lowry should have already been assured of making the All-Star team with an average of 19.8 points per game, 7.7 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game for one of the conference’s top teams, but the endorsement from the Biebs should see votes coming in droves for the eight-year veteran.
With 59.4 million followers and more than 20,000 retweets the word will get out to the Beliebers and for the fans who do as they’re told from the pop star they will rock the vote as much as humanely possible for Lowry to make sure Justin gets his way.
Lowry has never made the All-Star team in his career but should be a lock to make it this year in the midst of a career season when he has placed himself in the conversation for the league’s best point guard. With backcourt mate Demar DeRozan returning to the lineup last week his numbers should remain steady or even improve with another talented player for opposing defenses to worry about.
