Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has inspired a Seattle cannabis club to make the “Beastmode 2.0” weed strain.
For the second time in his NFL career, Marshawn Lynch is going to play in a Super Bowl. The Seattle Seahawks running back is also about to have something else happen for the second time since being drafted: a strain of marijuana will be named after him.

According to TMZ.com, the Queen Anne Cannabis Club in Seattle is going to be creating a strain of marijuana honoring Lynch named, “Beastmode 2.0.”
The article reads:
"The original “Beastmode” strain sold so well last year, growers wanted to up the ante with a more powerful strain in the hopes the Seahawks would get back to the Super Bowl. The bet paid off … and “Diggity” says the new stuff (called Beastmode 2.0) has 5% more THC than last year’s Beastmode weed — which flew off the shelves."
Ah, the beauty of living in Washington.
It is just a shame they don’t have the “DangeRuss” strain or the “Weedgion of Boom,” because then the fans out in Seattle would never have to put down their pipe. Well, unless they plan on traveling out to University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale for Super Bowl XLIX.
