11. Minnesota Vikings

Need: Wide Receiver

With Teddy Bridgewater as the future of the Vikings franchise, I could see Minnesota taking an offensive linemen to protect their investment.

The Vikings did give up 51 sacks last season, so I understand the desire to upgrade the offensive line. There will be good offensive linemen available at No.11, as well, so Minnesota could choose that route.

But, Minnesota also has the opportunity to make a huge move with the 11th pick in the draft and give Bridgewater another weapon in the passing game, which they desperately need to make that next step into the NFL playoffs.

Best Pick: DeVante Parker, Louisville

Reunited and it feels so good…

Teddy Bridgewater and DeVante Parker, former teammates from college, will be back at it again, but this time it’s in Minnesota.

Parker would be a slam dunk for the Vikings at No.11. With Cordarrelle Patterson on one side of the field, Adrian Peterson in the backfield, and Parker on the other side, opposing defenses are going to have a ridiculously hard time stopping that offense.

The ā€œTriple Pā€ package, as I’m already calling it, would present threeĀ perfect options for a young quarterback because Peterson is going to take the pass rush away with play-action and keep the safeties in the box. That’s going to leave one-on-one coverage on the outside with what-will-be two of the most explosive receivers in the NFL.

Pick Parker, Minnesota, you won’t regret it!
