Davidson fans wear Speedos to distract opponents during free throws

Some Davidson fans wore some Speedos to try and distract their opponents at the free throw line.

The Davidson men’s basketball team was taking on the No. 22 Dayton team on Tuesday night and some fans decided to get a little creative. Fans are always coming up with ways to try and distract free-throw shooters and these fans put it all out there when they donned Speedos.

I don’t know if Speedos are the best way to go, but I imagine it worked. At some point any Dayton player had to notice what was going on in the background and at least chuckle.

After that first initial shock though does it really continue to serve its purpose. At that point everyone has seen it and the shock factor is gone.

I guess their actions, which we don’t get the benefit of seeing through a series of photos, might impact that. They might find different ways to behave, or uh… move, to distract the shooters.
