2. Torrey Smith, Wide Receiver

Reggie Wayne very well could retire at the end of the season, which would give the Indianapolis Colts a need at the wide receiver position. The Colts would be very wise to turn to Torrey Smith if Wayne does retire, and he would be a perfect fit alongside of T.Y. Hilton.

Smith caught 49 passes for 767 yards and 11 touchdowns. At just 25 years of age, he would be a perfect pickup for the Colts both now and long-term as well. He would play more along the outside, which would give the Colts a chance to move Hilton more across the field and give him more chances to make plays.

Donte Moncrief is going to be a very good player himself, but he isn’t quite ready to step into a starting role just yet.

It won’t be cheap to sign Smith, but it would give Andrew Luck yet another huge weapon. Indianapolis may not want to spend that type of money on a wide receiver, but they will need to figure out a way to replace Wayne. Another option would be to re-sign Hakeem Nicks after the way he began stepping up down the stretch this past season.
