Joe Biden weighs in on Patriots’ DeflateGate scandal: I like softer balls (Video)
By Jack Crosby
Vice President Joe Biden was asked about the Patriots scandal Wednesday morning.
With the news coming late Monday night that the New England Patriots deflated 11 of 12 footballs in the AFC Championship Game Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, everyone is looking for opinions on the matter. On Tuesday morning, CBS wanted the opinion of United States Vice President Joe Biden.
Biden appeared on CBS This Morning Tuesday morning to talk the State of the Union Address, but at one point the subject of the latest Patriots cheating scandal was brought up and Biden’s answer was interesting, to say the least.
Well, that is if you have the sense of humor of a 13-year-old (Which most of us do, be honest).
When pegged the question about the Patriots being caught up in all of this, Biden simply explained that he actually prefers the balls to be deflated because…he likes softer balls.
So, there you have that. While there were a lot of issues addressed last night at the State of the Union, we were thankfully able to get Biden’s opinion on softer balls.
