A creative video released shows a little kid who is trying to shame LeBron James into appearing in the Slam Dunk Contest.

The pressure is building on LeBron James to enter the dunk contest from an unlikely source. No, it’s not NBA commissioner Adam Silver, but rather a creative video through challeng.org that is urging people to donate to charity in order to get LeBron to enter the All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest February 14 in New York.

Wow. That kid is impressive. I’m on the verge of donating myself.

If LeBron opts against an appearance in the dunk contest, then Challenge.org will be returning all donations. So, if LeBron doesn’t enter, The Boys and Girls Club of America will be losing out on a significant donation.

Talk about pressure.

At the very least here are the Top 10 reasons LeBron should listen to the passion of youth and finally enter the contest:

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

10. It’s in New York. There is no bigger stage to do a dunk contest on than the bright lights of Madison Square Garden

9. MJ. Kobe. Dr. J. All the greats have done the dunk contest. LeBron should want to be in that team photo.

8. Time is of the essence. LeBron still has plenty in the tank, but the tank is starting to drain.

7. Chemistry. LeBron can bring in a teammate like Kyrie or J.R. Smith and show them some much-needed love.

6. He could win it. Judges are easily influenced and the crowd will want LeBron to take the crown.

5. Sponsors. Coca-cola, Nike, Upper Deck, Samsung would really appreciate the extra juice and when you are making 40+ million a year off the court you kind of owe them a goodwill gesture once a career.

4. Love of the fans. Even the most die-hard LeBron haters have softened since he went back to Cleveland. He would gain even more of them back with a dunk contest appearance.

3. LeBron has nothing to lose. Even if he misses dunk after dunk, he is still LeBron James, the best player in the game. Michael Jordan did the 3-point contest and couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat and no one holds that performance against him.

2. The spotlight. LeBron loves it. And everyone will be watching “The King” From the TV ratings to the crowd, LeBron will feel the love.

1. The kid in the video. How could anyone say no to that young man. That would weigh on your conscience for life.
