The Carolina Panthers failed to make it to the Super Bowl this year, but they managed to get back into the postseason and back tot he NFC Divisional Round for a second straight year. That’s impressive given the struggles the team had, and Cam Newton was a stud all year long. Fans rallied behind him all year, from his slow start to after his car accident and into the postseason.

Newton has long been a fan favorite in Carolina and his popularity is only growing as he leads the team to larger success.
