Bill Belichick gave the media about all he could on Thursday in regards to the infamous deflated footballs.
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick took to the podium on Thursday, and of course everyone was waiting to hear what he would have to say about the now infamous deflated football controversy from the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
Well, contrary to what a lot of people believe, Belichick did not completely ignore the issue, as he jumped right into it head first.
Right upon taking the podium, Belichick noted that he had absolutely no knowledge of the deflated footballs until the next morning, right as everyone else was getting caught up on the news.

Belichick would make a few more statements from there, but more or less he deflected all questions about footballs to his quarterback, Tom Brady.
News was released on Tuesday night that upon investigation, 11 of the 12 Patriots’ footballs were indeed deflated, giving them somewhat of a competitive advantage in the game that would end up being a 45-7 blowout.
It’s still not known what, if any, action will be taken with Belichick from the league, however he did state that he and the organization will cooperate fully with the NFL.
