With the culmination of college football and the Super Bowl right around the corner, the countdown to spring training is well underway for many fantasy sports enthusiasts. Even for those of us who love fantasy basketball, it is time for us to begin to switch gears. Spring training always does wonders for most of us as it not only it signifies the beginning of baseball, but it also signifies the end of winter.

With all that said, it is time for those of us in fantasy baseball to begin considering who we will keep in our keeper and dynasty leagues and who we will draft. Here at Fantasy CPR we are committed to helping you in every way possible.

We are going to be doing some pretty in-depth fantasy analysis of who we like for this season. Today we will be giving you a top ten list of hitters for you to consider when making keeper selections and preparing for your re-draft leagues.

10. player. 11. Adam Jones is a fascinating player with a great ability to hit the long ball. Jones is not much of a terror on the base-paths, but he will still steal a few. The Orioles were one of the better teams in baseball, so he will be in a well supported offense and should be able to continue to be a threat for a high amount of RBIs. Look for Jones to be able to improve upon last year’s numbers if he can stay healthy for the 2015 season. Last year, Jones was a bit of an iron man playing in 159 games. At the still fairly young age of 29, Jones should stay near the top of hitters in fantasy baseball for a few more years.. Outfield. Baltimore Orioles. Adam Jones

63. Well, we had to see this coming sooner or later. We have moved on from an era where Miggy seemingly dominated fantasy baseball for three or four years. He saw a pretty decent drop in production last season. Miggy still hit an incredible .313 average, but dropped to 25 home runs. He still knocked in 109 RBIs and maintained a healthy .895 slugging percentage. Miggy will still be one of the top players off of your draft board this year based on name value alone, but for my money I would not take him in the first few rounds and I would consider moving him in keeper or dynasty leagues.. 1st Base. Detroit Tigers. Miguel Cabrera. 9. player

Jul 13, 2014; Denver, CO, USA; Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki (2) hits a double during the ninth inning against the Minnesota Twins at Coors Field. The Twins won 13-5. Mandatory Credit: Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Troy Tulowitzki. 8. player. 108. Troy Tulowitzki wound up missing almost half of last season, but was on a rabid pace and looked to be having a career year. Tulowitzki has always had a few injury problems along the way, but had not necessarily received the nonenvious title of being an injury-prone player. There are some out there now who may be moving towards naming him as such after only playing 91 games last year. This could be your year to land the SS at a reduced price as he will still be my favorite SS to own this coming year. I look for Tulo to possibly have the best year of his career since he was well on his way last year.. ShortStop. Colorado Rockies

76. Carlos Gomez is one of the better offensive players in baseball. He will give you stats in all five of the major categories and will not hurt you anywhere. He also played in 148 games last year so he is not one to miss much time. Gomez is a player who is great to own and will also hold a lot of trade value. You can not really go wrong taking him anywhere in the first round.. Outfield. Milwaukee Brewers. Carlos Gomez. 6. player

Outfield. Miami Marlins. Giancarlo Stanton. 4. player. 82. Giancarlo Stanton is a player that I believe probably has the talent to be knocking down the door for the top spot on this list and could easily achieve that by the end of this season. Stanton was pretty incredible on a pretty bad Marlins team last year that has seemingly made some improvements heading into this season. Stanton should be able to improve upon the numbers he put up last season which included a .288 batting average with 37 homers and 105 RBIs.

Jul 21, 2014; Phoenix, AZ, USA; Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt against the Detroit Tigers at Chase Field. Mandatory Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

8. Paul Goldschmidt is easily the best first baseman in fantasy baseball sporting a nice average with a solid amount of home runs. Last year in only 109 games, he was able to hit 19 home runs with 69 RBIs. He is a power hitter that you will want to try to get in your line up. He is still a young player and will also make for a nice keeper league target.. First Base. Arizona Diamondbacks. Paul Goldschmidt. 3. player

Sep 25, 2014; Atlanta, GA, USA; Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen (22) hits a two run single in the eighth inning of their game against the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field. Mandatory Credit: Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Andrew McCutchen is one of my favorite players to watch because of the all out effort he gives on every single play. He is one of the guys that is just a pure joy to watch and have young kids model their game after. He is one of those guys that I try to acquire on every team that I own, but it is difficult as McCutchen does not really see too many dry spells though the season. McCutchen is a guy who will help you in almost every offensive category, and should easily be one of the top three off of any draft board for any league you’re in.. Outfield. Pittsburgh Pirates. Andrew McCutchen. 2. player. 4

Mike Trout has really been worth the hype and pretty much lived up to what everyone thought he would be. He should easily be the consensus #1 pick across all fantasy baseball formats. I guess there is a possibility you could argue that McCutchen could be picked ahead of Trout, but at the tender age of 23, Trout still looks to continue to improve upon the already astounding numbers he has put up the last couple of years. Last year Trout hit 36 home runs with 111 RBIs. He also netted a .287 batting average with 16 stolen bases.. Outfield. Los Angeles Angels. Mike Trout. 1. player. 102
