The Super Bowl just got more fabulous, with news that Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir are joining NBC’s coverage team for the big game.
Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir, NBC’s A-Team from the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, are set to bring their talents to Glendale, Arizona as part of the network’s Super Bowl XLIX pre-game coverage.

Lipinski and Weir will be stationed at the Super Bowl XLIX Tailgate Party, providing their own thoughts on the festivities while interviewing guests who are in attendance.
The dynamic duo has been fantastic during their time together and their energy should go well with the party atmosphere during the tailgate party.
“Having six hours of pregame coverage allows us to not only surround every aspect of the game, but also to cover the Super Bowl as the unparalleled event that it is,” said Sam Flood, Executive Producer for NBC Sports & NBCSN, and producer of NBC’s Super Bowl XLIX pregame show, in a statement. “We’re looking forward to Johnny and Tara bringing their fun perspective and style to the show.”
NBC will begin their pre-Super Bowl coverage at noon ET on Super Bowl Sunday leading up to the scheduled 5:30 p.m. ET kickoff at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
