Tom Brady met with the media on Thursday afternoon to address the deflate-gate that has dominated the NFL coverage since Sunday night and just wants you to know this isn’t ISIS.
The New England Patriots are cheating NFL fans from the proper coverage they are deserving of after a great championship weekend that saw them advance to the Super Bowl where they’ll meet the Seattle Seahawks.

Bill Belichick and Tom Brady tried to answer the plethora of questions from the media on Thursday why 11 of their 12 game balls used in the AFC Championship Game were under-inflated and in violation of NFL rules.
Both Belichick and Brady denied any wrongdoing and said they respected the leagues rules. Brady thinks the Patriots won fair and square explained his pre-game ball routine, but one quite is sure to raise a few eyebrows when he tried to put this controversy into perspective by saying this isn’t ISIS.
Way to put that into perspective for us Tommy.
Of course this isn’t comparable to a terrorist organization no matter if they intentionally deflated the balls to gain an unfair advantage over the Colts in the AFC Championship Game or not.
Sure the attention has been a bit much and sure to annoy the casual fan who is sick and tired of hearing about this, but let’s keep some perspective here.
No one has died. No one is going to die. And I’m not even sure how much of a deal the psi of a football is in the grand scheme of things. Would it have changed the outcome of a 45-7 game? Heck no.
Is it cheating? Of course it is.
I am going to chalk this up to Brady speaking out in frustration after having to have a 30 minute press conference and disrupt his planning and preparing for the Super Bowl to address how he likes his balls.
We’ve all been frustrated before and we say things that we immediately regret before the words even fully leave our mouth, but unlike you or me, we don’t have microphones in our faces and aren’t televised on ESPN, NFL Network and local affiliates while we have a regrettable line.
