The game is sold for $24 for Xbox Gold subscribers and $60 for those without, but PlayStation users will have to wait until Tuesday to get their hands on the latest from EA Sports. If you already own Madden 15 you know all about the standard game that you’ll receive with this purchase, but that’s not all you’ll get for your hard-earned money.

According to pastapadre, you’ll also receiver Ultimate Team Content, which is a $20 value, and you have until the day after the Super Bowl to take advantage of this deal.

"“The “Super Bowl Edition” is the standard Madden 15 but comes with $20 worth of Ultimate Team content. That includes 10 Pro Packs and a Super Bowl Pack that feature rookie versions of Joe Montana, Reggie White, and Michael Irvin. The deal will be active until Monday, February 2.Madden 15 can currently be purchased new for $40 through Amazon and even back over the Black Friday period it only fell to $30. Those also wouldn’t include any Ultimate Team bonuses.”"

For Xbox Gold subscribers a $24 investment is a reasonable deal if you are interested in getting your hands on the ultimate team content that included the rookie versions of Joe Montana, The Minister of Defense, Reggie White and the Playmaker, Michael Irvin.

From the business side of things this is a great money grab from EA Sports as they recognize the shelf life for Madden 15 is about to die at the end of the season as people shift their focus from football to NBA, NHL and MLB games in addition to the plethora of non-sport video games.

At least that’s been my experience as a gamer. When the real season ends I still play the occasional game and continue to tinker with my franchise or career mode, but for the most part it gathers dust while I play the game that is in season.

So brilliant move by EA Sports to get people to buy the game they already own for a second time.
