NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft results: Johansen, Kessel go 1-2
The first event of the All-Star Weekend is the NHL All-Star fantasy draft. This event marks the beginning of what is expected to be a very exciting weekend for hockey fans worldwide.
This year the 2015 NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft is being held in Columbus, Ohio to kick-off All-Star Weekend, and this event, along with the the others taking place this weekend will be aired live on NBC.

48 of the best players in the league – 42 NHL All-Stars, and six rookies – make up the list of eligible selections for each of the captains and their alternate captains.
The captains for this years NHL All-Star draft are Nick Foligno of the Columbus Blue Jackets, and Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Team Foligno’s alternate captains are Drew Daughty of the Los Angeles Kings and Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Team Toews alternate captains are Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks and Rick Nash of the New York Rangers.
The first NHL All-Star fantasy draft picks for each team are as follows:
Team Foligno selects: Ryan Johansen of the Columbus Blue Jackets
Team Toews selects: Phil Kessel of the Toronto Maple Leafs
