A butcher shop near Seattle has taken Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch’s love of skittles and his fondness for grabbing his junk to create an interesting new menu item.

Marshawn Lynch has been fined twice in recent weeks for grabbing his crotch and now Blue Max Meats near Seattle has come up with a Beast Mode inspired sausage combining his sausage grabbing celebration and his love of skittles.

The Beast Mode Sausage may be an acquired taste even for the most die-hard of Seattle Seahawks fans because the combination of the sugary sweet Skittles inside a sausage isn’t two ingredients you’d think would make for a beautiful marriage.

Check out how the sausage is made in this album from imgur:

Maybe this will catch on at butcher shops across the country with Starbursts, Twix, Snickers and Butterfingers mixed into the sausage before being piped into casings?

Do you want to try it?

Owners Tommy Marshall and Even Greco didn’t think it would be as hot of an item as it has been and originally made it available as more of a publicity stunt to gain notoriety.

“We originally did it to put our name on the map, but we’ve kind of become a destination,” Marshall told ESPN. “Not a day goes by where we don’t sell it.”

Congratulations to Blue Max Meats for the creative approach to combine the success of the Seahawks and the love affair with Lynch to boost their sales and bring customers in the doors. Restaurants, deli’s, butcher shops and other shops across the country would be wise to pay attention to sports figures and trends to help boost their bottom line and create attention for their brand.

As for Lynch and the Seahawks, could there be any better publicity than the inspiration behind the Beast Mode sausage than Beast Mode himself walking through the doors of Blue Max Meats and ordering up a sausage filled with his favorite candy?

That would be a welcome sight to see. A sight that would be far more welcome than Lynch grabbing his crotch on national television would be.

However, I am fully confident in saying there are a ton of people in the Pacific Northwest who are hoping to see Lynch grab himself once or twice during the Super Bowl on Feb. 1, because that would mean the Seahawks aren’t feeling too deflated about their chances of winning the game over the New England Patriots.
