Former Cavalier Dion Waiters doesn’t want to hear from his old team’s leader, LeBron James.
The way Dion Waiters was traded didn’t set too well with the Oklahoma City Thunder guard. He was in warmups for Cleveland in his hometown Philadelphia before he was pulled from the court to be told that he was traded. One person who hasn’t reached out to him since the trade, his former teammate LeBron James.

Waiters who is very happy in his new role in Oklahoma City, isn’t worried about whether or not James would reach out to him.
Speaking to Northeast Ohio Media Group, Waiters let it be known how he felt about the whole situation.
“Man, he had his chance to reach out,” Waiters said to the group, “I’m not losing any sleep.”
Waiters has also been enjoying his time with the Thunder and taken every opportunity he gets to throw shade at his former team, saying his numbers are better because he actually touches the ball.
Waiters returns to Cleveland Sunday as the Thunder take on the Cavaliers on ABC. Things surrounding the Cavaliers have been rocky to say the least this season. From their slow start to LeBron pushing David Blatt to Kevin Love sitting on the bench in the fourth quarter, things haven’t been as easy for the NBA’s newest super team.
However, since their loss to Phoenix on January 13, they have won five straight games and look to be finally finding their groove.
It will be interesting to see if they can continue their streak against Oklahoma City who will have a very motivated Waiters on their side this time.
