The Ellen Show: Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow play “Never Have I Ever”
By 1
Ellen Degeneres has the stars of Mortdecai reveal their secrets in the classic but not-so-classy party game.
In true, beloved Ellen fashion, it’s time for Hollywood stars to partake in nonsensical games. This edition: Never Have I Ever, featuring Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Paul Bettany.
The guests are each given a paddle, with one side reading “I have” and the other “I have never”, and they were instructed to flip the paddle to answer the questions that Ellen shoots at them.
Who has (surprisingly, for Hollywood) never been arrested? Who has gotten a tattoo that they regret?
Watch the full video below to find out.
Well, no one has regretted any of their (hypothetical or actual) tattoos, but both men have visited a nude beach.

Not sure if I should or shouldn’t be surprised about that one. Probably not– this is the entertainment industry, and these are men, after all.
Everyone in the audience seemed shocked to discover that all three had seen their Mortdecai cast members naked, but again: This is Hollywood. Not exactly a big deal, I can imagine. The real surprise of the game, however, was when all three contestants turned the paddle to “I Have” for joining the mile high club, and then Ellen did, as well!
Apparently, everyone (Ellen, included) has lied and said a baby was cute when it was obviously ugly. Personally, I believe that all babies are cute, but I seem to be in the obvious minority. What I’d really like to know is how has Gwyneth Paltrow never had to lie to get a job? I mean, even if you have the best intentions, everyone tries to talk themselves up at least a little bit.
But hey, she did admit to getting out of a speeding ticket by being a celebrity, so there’s that bit of ‘cheating the system’ that was missing.
