Here, watch Klay Thompson set an NBA record on Friday night and live your life in amazement
Friday night there was some serious NBA history made when Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson put on maybe the best one-quarter performance of anyone in NBA history when he dropped an eye-popping 37 points on the Sacramento Kings in one quarter.
As that third quarter went on, you wondered when he was going to be stopped, but that moment never really came. He finished the quarter 13-of-13 from the field and he also set another record by nailing in nine of nine three pointers, leaving everyone watching just stunned at what they were seeing.
Now because it was a game on the West Coast, some of you may have missed the history-making moment from Klay Thompson. So if you did, enjoy the video below that shows every one of the 37 points that Thompson dropped in on his way to NBA history.
It’s still amazing to watch and it will continue to be for years to come, because this is one record that actually might be standing for a while. It’s going to be tough to put a dent in this one.
