In a rather unprecedented move, Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant had cameras with him recording when he learned that he tore his rotator cuff and his season would be coming to an end prematurely. It is part of a feature with the Playerās TribuneĀ and it is parts fascinating and heartbreaking at the same time.
Bryant and his ultra-competitive attitude can peg him as a bad guy at times, but it is still heartbreaking to watch him learn of the news and sit there and try to process and take it in. Despite what you think about Bryant, it is hard to watch someone go through that.
