Memphis coach Josh Pastner broke out his version of “The Whip” dance in the locker room after his team defeated Tulane. It was not pretty.
The Memphis basketball team came up with a huge win on Saturday, defeating Tulane 57-55 with Austin Nichols drilling the game-winning shot with 3.1 seconds to go.

As teams often do after exhilarating wins, the Tigers celebrated in the locker room with a dance party. But the highlight of the celebration didn’t come from the players, but rather Memphis coach Josh Pastner.
The 37-year-old tried to fit in with his players by trying his hand at “The Whip” dance. Unfortunately for him and fortunately for us, it did not go very well.

Hey, at least he tried.
And regardless of how bad it looked, it’s always cool to see coaches get in on the fun during celebrations, so kudos to Pastner for giving it a shot.
Now, the only natural next step here is for Pastner to go head-to-head in a Whip-off with Papi LeBatard from ESPN2’s Highly Questionable
