The veteran players on the Philadelphia 76ers gave JaKarr Sampson the rookie treatment by wrapping his car in tinfoil recently.
With an 8-36 record, the Philadelphia 76ers are one of the worst teams in the NBA.

However, their terrible on-court play hasn’t stopped them from having a little fun off the court at the expense of rookie JaKarr Sampson.
A few of the 76ers veteran players recently wrapped Sampson’s entire car in tinfoil. They did a fantastic job, to say the least.
Take a look at their work below, courtesy of WPVI-TV’s Jeff Skversky:
Here’s another glimpse into Sampson’s reaction to seeing the prank, via Sixers forward Robert Covington.
Well played, 76ers veterans. Well played. Now only if they could execute on the court as well as they can with their pranks. Philly has lost their last five games by an average of 16.6 points per game.
Sampson, an undrafted rookie out of St. Johns, is averaging 3.7 points on 44.4 percent shooting from the field and 26.2 percent shooting from beyond the arc with 1.7 rebounds and .8 assists per game. He had one of his better games of the season on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies, scoring nine points on 4-of-9 shooting with three rebounds.
