Richard Sherman doesn’t think NFL will punish Patriots as long as Robert Kraft, Roger Goodell are friends
By Mike Dyce
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman doesn’t think the New England Patriots will be punished because owner Robert Kraft and commissioner Roger Goodell are buddies.
The Seattle Seahawks have landed in Arizona for their Super Bowl XLIX match up against the New England Patriots. Of course they were swamped with questions relating to the Patriots and their deflated football scandal that has been the hot story of the sports world over the past week.

The always outspoken Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was asked about whether or he thought the Patriots would be punished for the incident, and he had strong words in response.
“Will they be punished? Probably not,” Sherman said. “Not as long as Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft are still taking pictures at their respective homes. I think it was just at Kraft’s house last week before the AFC Championship, you know. Talk about conflict of interest”
It is a valid point, but then again the system is geared that way anyways. Owners pay the commissioner, he is their employee to a certain extent. Now if one owner were to complain about it than there could be some more response and pushback to any alleged favoritism.
In the mean time, watch Sherman rip Goodell.
