Seattle Seahawks fans hold rally as team leaves for Super Bowl (Photo)
The 12th man was out in full force as the Seahawks headed to the airport to go to Arizona
The Seattle Seahawks are heading to their third Super Bowl appearance in franchise history and their second consecutive appearance after defeating the Denver Broncos in last year’s Super Bowl. After a stunning comeback against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship last week, their fans have become even more passionate than they were before, if that’s even possible.

With their team boarding buses to head to the airport to travel to Arizona, fans waited to show support and send their team off. Not only did they show up, but it turned into a massive party which Shelley Smith compared on ESPN to a college atmosphere.
Fans were decked out in the neon green and blue, wearing their jerseys, waving 12th man flags, seahawks logo flags, and several other varieties of flags in the air as their team rolled by.
Thousands showed up just to get a glimpse of their team departing for Arizona.
With the success of the Seahawks, and the franchise finally winning a Super Bowl last year, everything in Seattle has turned into one massive party where grown men paint their bodies from head-to-toe in green paint and women wear massive blue wigs.
Even guys are wearing giant blue wigs. Everything is a party there now apparently. It doesn’t take much for Seattle fans to party, even just seeing their team bus take off now sends them in a frenzy.
Years from now people will be taking lessons from Seahawks fans on how to party. The growing fan base in Seattle is becoming infectious and fans are jumping on board with the successful franchise.
Seattle has a lot of great young players on their franchise and will towards the top of the league for the foreseeable future with names like Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas III, and Kam Chancellor leading them.
Whether fans of other teams like it or not, the party will continue and it will grow louder and prouder, like their fans as the years go on.
