There was no sign saying don’t feed the NHL players

The people of Columbus, OH showed tremendous hospitality in hosting the 2015 NHL All-Star game. How hospitable were they? Why, they even fed the players sitting on the bench, of course.

Carey Price, the Canadiens goaltender, was the lucky recipient of nachos from a Blue Jackets fan in the first row.

Price, who was the goaltender for Team Foligno, had fun interacting with the fans and eating nachos before his stint between the pipes.

Nachos covered in chili and cheese, like the ones that a fan personally hand-fed to Price, are absolutely delicious and it’s easy to see why the 2014 gold medalist would want a bite.

The NHL All-Star weekend in Ohio was a blast and the Blue Jackets fans represented well hosting the game in their city. They also did well keeping the players fed and being a real pal by giving them some nachos.

Carey Price also put up the best stat line of the goalies on Team Foligno, as he stopped 12 of 16 shots, though his team fell to Team Toews 17-12 where a record 29 goals were scored.

Not sure if it was a lack of effort or defense, but that is a lot of goals. Considering that 29 were scored and Price only gave up four, he deserves a lot more than nachos.
