OLB Jamie Collins, New England

When the season started, Collins was a role player for the New England defense. His importance to the team has grown dramatically as the season progressed.

The Patriots had to deal with several injuries on the defensive side of the ball this season, and Collins stepped up and delivered when teammates like Dont’a Hightower and Chandler Jones missed time.

Collins led the Patriots with 116 tackles, and he also contributed 4.0 sacks, five passes defensed, two interceptions, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Collins is big and powerful at 6-4 and 250 pounds, but he also moves well and knows his opponents’ tendencies. If the Seahawks can’t get Collins blocked consistently, they will face a difficult night.
