Super Bowl 2015: Ranking all 48 Super Bowls
By Andrew Ross
35.) Super Bowl VI – Dallas Cowboys vs. Miami Dolphins
It was the second straight Super Bowl for Dallas, but this time it was different as they defeated Miami 24-3.
The Dolphins never had a true shot to win on that day as the Cowboys’ defense held them to only three points by forcing three turnovers and allowing only 185 total yards.
That point total remains the fewest points scored in the Super Bowl, and it’s the only time a team has never scored a touchdown.
Because of Dallas’ defense, the Cowboys nearly doubled the Dolphins time of possession (39:12 to 20:48).
Duane Thomas had 95 yards rushing and one touchdown, but it was Roger Staubach who won MVP for completing 12/19 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
